Welcome to the d2 wiki¶✎ edit

This is the prototype's wiki: markdown topics that link to each other, to the domain model and to objects. Everything here is made up, a sandbox for trying d2.

Start here¶✎ edit

• ModelTour: how the sample mining model is put together, group by group.
• DrillingPrimer: from a drill program to an assay, in the model's terms.
• Three made-up companies: Frostline (a gold developer), Copperhead (a copper producer) and NorthRoyalty (a royalty and streaming company).

The source topics¶✎ edit

• mining-domain (a Spec topic) declares the classes, with $class.
• mining-samples declares the sample objects, with $object.

Saving either one reloads the domain and the objects, so an edit there shows up at once in the model graph and the object browser.

Links¶✎ edit

• [[TopicName]] links a topic; a topic that doesn't exist yet shows as a create link, like YourNextTopic.
• [[Class:key]] links an object, like FLR or dep-frost.
• [[target|label]] sets the text: Copperhead's company record.
• [[otherproject.Topic:Notes]] links a topic in another project, like its Notes.

To play: open any topic and press Edit, or make a new one from the wiki list. The red Reset all button on Home puts everything back as it was.
