company-notes
description
Keep one wiki topic per company up to date from a chat, linking objects instead of copying numbers. Use when the user shares news, results or opinions about a company in the d2 sample domain.

company-notes

Needs diesel2 for the calls.

  1. Find the company object: GET /api/v2/dom/val/Company?query=name is "…", or by ticker, GET /api/v2/dom/val/Company:FLR.
  2. Find its topic in the wiki (for example Frostline). If there is none, create one named after the company, with no spaces.
  3. Read the topic, add the news under a dated heading, and write it back with PUT. Link objects ([[DrillProgram:dp-2026]]) rather than repeating their numbers, so the note doesn't go stale.
  4. If the news changes a fact on the object itself, such as a new resource estimate, say so and offer to update the object; don't change it silently.
  5. If the user states a view or a plan ("I'll add after the assays"), record it in their memory, for example frostline-watch, not in the company topic.
